Inflation is edging up slightly but remains within the range of price stability, with the SNB keeping rates at 0%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Central banks:<\/strong> in response to renewed inflationary pressures, both the Fed and the ECB raised rates by 25 basis points. For the Fed, this is its first hike in more than three years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Markets:<\/strong> AI continues to drive equities, which close in positive territory. A tougher picture for bonds: the US 10-year Treasury yield jumps by 82 basis points, a move not seen in over 30 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are just some of the themes that characterized the third quarter of 2026.
