After graduating in Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Fribourg, he began his career in the banking sector, gaining significant experience in various institutions in the fields of internal and external auditing. He joined Banca del Sempione in 2008 as an internal auditor and became Head of the department in 2015. In 2021, he was appointed Head of the Risk Area, a position he held until May 2026, when he joined the General Management.
